Our Reading Specialist

 Kath Denholm is a speech therapist, who has been teaching children to read and spell for over 17 years now! In her early years of teaching she worked with five 18 year old boys from a local township. They had ‘cheated’ their way to their final year of school and they could not write nor read the word ‘c-a-t’.  It was at this time that a deep passion was conceived in Kath to help ALL people learn to read and write. Kath worked in London, Private Practices in Cape Town and KZN and then finally taught at Livingstone Remedial School in KZN, South Africa for 3 years. For 10 years she has been teaching her own children to read and spell. She has also been developing pre-reading and reading online products to help mothers and teachers in the classroom.
